Academy of Tucson: Amazon Future Engineers

Academy of Tucson High School is thrilled to offer the Amazon Future Engineer program! Designed to inspire students in computer science, these Amazon Future Engineer courses promote how technology and computer science can impact and shape our world. The three full-year course are: AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science - Java and Intro to Computer Science – Python. Check out two AOTHS students taking advantage of this program: 

Alex Anthis, a senior, is taking the AP Computer Science Principles curriculum and running with it. Not only is he excelling on projects in the classroom, Alex is using the program for personal projects!

 

Freshman Trevor Russell is taking the AP Computer Science - Java course. Trevor’s keen interest in engineering propelled him to attend the Southern Arizona Construction Career Day event in November. Keep up the excellent work, Trevor!
