Academy of Tucson has five new hires this year straddling all three of our campuses. We asked some of these academic superstars to tell us about themselves, why they choose to be educators, why they chose to join AOT and how they love to learn in their own lives.

At AOT we believe parents make schools.  We work together — in partnership — to make sure every child grows, to ensure our communication is strong and to value the efforts of both our teachers and caretakers.

Lindsey Figueroa, Career and College Advisor, at Academy of Tucson High School gave us these personal insights into ways our AOTHS students can stay organized, safe and engaged while distance learning.

Switching schools is daunting. There are so many unknowns. Not least of all is the academic fit. Will making this switch prove worth the tremendous effort it takes to change course after the school year has begun?

Our distance learning experience, according to parents and students, is working. After a summer like no other, we are excited to be back into our Academy of Tucson groove and we know we owe so much to our students and families.

The majority of our Academy of Tucson High School students graduate with college credit. In fact - they’re earning at least 6.0 seamlessly-transferable college credits!
