About us:
The Superintendent’s Office provides leadership and support to further the mission of the Academy of Tucson Schools.

Mission:
The Academy of Tucson
will provide students with a quality education characterized by a sound
college preparatory curriculum; a faculty of educated, respected,
encouraging and caring teachers; a safe, supportive environment for
learning and a communicative, accountable administration. The
Academy of Tucson will prepare students for citizenship in a
knowledge-based, global economy; a democratic, multicultural
country; and a free, open society. The Academy of Tucson will graduate
students who show respect for themselves and others; take
responsibility for themselves; practice positive leadership; value
educational preparation and lifelong learning; and become
responsible, contributing citizens.

Visitor and Tour Policy 

All visitors, parents, guardians, etc. who visit the school for any reason are required to enter the school through the main/front doors, report to the school office, sign in, present identification, be in modest attire, and wear a visitor badge at all times. In order to ensure the safety of the campus community, entrance to the school through other entrances is not permitted by visitors. 


Parents/visitors inside the building are asked to refrain from opening the front doors or gates to allow another parent/visitor into the building.  Admittance into the school must be through the front office


All visitors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner at all times, and are expected to: be appropriately dressed; use appropriate language and behavior; and respond respectfully to any direction given by a staff member. This School maintains a Zero Tolerance policy towards drugs, tobacco, e-cigarettes/vaping, and alcohol possession and use. Weapons are also prohibited. These policies apply to all campus visitors and volunteers, 

including parents.


All visitors who wish to tour one of our campuses must adhere to all of the above visitor policies. To schedule a tour, call the school’s main office.
